
Citizen, Senior and Teen Police Academy Application

- The mission of the Northglenn Police Department's Citizen Academy is to educate the citizens of Northglenn and gain their acceptance and cooperation through training and building partnerships.
- The intent of the Citizen's Police Academy is to educate participants about the work involved in being a police officer, as well as the training and programs that exist within the Northglenn Police Department.
- The academies are in the winter (February) and Fall (September). The classes are approximately 11 weeks long, and scheduled for 3 hours each.
- Requirements:
- Teen Academy: Current student of Adams 12 school, 16 to 18 years of age.
- Adult Academy: Northglenn resident, or employed in Northglenn.
- Senior Academy: Northglenn resident or Northglenn senior organization.
